TERMDEFINITION
F
Fresh water Naturally occurring liquid or frozen water with very low concentration in salt (less than 1,000 milligrams per litter of dissolved salts and salinity of less than 0.5), and low conductivity (conductivity often less than 200 Β΅S/cm). It refers to all waters with low hardness including all inland aquatic systems such as streams, brooks, springs, rivers and lakes.
