📑 Law No. 94/01 of 20 January 1994 to lay down forestry, wildlife and fisheries regulations in Cameroon, Part 1, Chapter 1, Section 17, Sub-section 2

" Clearing or exploitation shall be forbidden in forests or parts of forests that have been declared out of bounds or classified as State forests as provided for in the preceding subsection."

DEFINITION OF TERMS IN THIS CLAUSE


🔑 Forest
Forest

➡ large area of land bigger than half a hectare (5 000m2) covered with trees higher than 5 meters and a tree canopy cover of more than 10 %, or with trees that will be able to meet these criteria.


🔑 State forest
State forest

➡ a nation's forest as a whole - all forests under the jurisdiction of a particular nation.
