📑 Law No. 94/01 of 20 January 1994 to lay down forestry, wildlife and fisheries regulations in Cameroon, Part 2, Chapter 1, Section 15

" In this law, ‘clearing' means the act of removing the trees or natural vegetation cover of a forest land in order to use such land for purposes other than forestry, irrespective of the means used in the removal."

Forest

➡ large area of land bigger than half a hectare (5 000m2) covered with trees higher than 5 meters and a tree canopy cover of more than 10 %, or with trees that will be able to meet these criteria.
