" Any person engaged in unauthorized broadcasting may be prosecuted before the court of: (a) the flag State of the ship; (b) the State of registry of the installation; (c) the State of which the person is a national; (d) any State where the transmissions can be received; or (e) any State where authorized radio communication is suffering interference."
DEFINITION OF TERMS IN THIS CLAUSE
➡ a piece of fabric, usually hung from a pole, to indicate a nationality of a vessel.
➡ to be registered to a specific country(the flag state) and use their flag while sailing.
➡ State in which the vessel is recognised at international law as being registered, that is, the state under whose laws a vessel is registered, whose flag a vessel is entitled to fly .
➡ a large boat that carries people or goods across the seas or oceans
